Day Training

Jean-Marie (nicknamed Jean) arrived in the United States from France with his wife and their two children in December 2016.

He has been a student of the CATCH Canine Trainers Academy Program since 2021 and a participant in CATCH mentoring program at My Dog’s Got Class with owner Adrienne Kepp as his mentor.  While he had dogs all his life, he only came into dog training after adopting his rescue dog Ruby, a 14 month old female Pitbull.  Ruby was a stray dog in Nashville, TN who had no training. Jean-Marie decided to train her himself, as a way to bond with her and help her adjust to her new life as a family pet.  It turned out to be a life changing experience.  Jean-Marie now aspires to help other dog owners improve the relationship with their dogs so they can be great companions.  He believes that the more owners educate themselves about their dogs; it will help to reduce the number of dogs in shelters due to behavioral issues.

In his free time, Jean-Marie likes to play guitar, fish, hike, and train his 2 dogs Ruby and Rita. He also volunteers at the SAVE animal shelter of Princeton, NJ with his wife and his son, who read to the cats every week.
