Guided Relaxation: Mat Work

In this group class you and your dog will learn techniques to tackle internal frustration as well as how to relax in different environments, starting within the home. The guided relaxation class will give you the information you may need to take your dog’s mat/place behavior to the next level, making it applicable to more scenarios within your daily life.  You will learn how to set your dog up for success in various scenarios; whether it is for when guests visit, if you go out to a social event bringing your dog along, going for a walk or hanging out at home.

Mat/place work will be practiced for a majority of this class however, problem solving as a group with discussions lead by the trainer will help you and your peers connect with each other while learning how every person and dog may actually have similar thought pathways that can brew anxiety. Learning confidence, how to have a clear mind around your dog, and the practice on intention, will help change your relationship in a beneficial direction. Goals for each student will be discussed and dissected, and each class will begin with a short meditation session.
