Gale Meadow, CPDT-KA, CNWI, Certified Fear Free Profressional
Instructor, Nosework Instructor
Inspired by a special dog named Ruffles who had come into her life, Gale began her professional career in dog training in 2002. Gale has taught a variety of classroom curriculums over the years including Puppy, Basic, Advanced, Pet Therapy, playgroups, and reactive dog training.
In 2011, Gale became interested in Nose Work, a new sport which was making its debut on the East coast. As Gale observed the confidence and enjoyment that dogs derived from participating in scent work; it became her passion. Gale is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI), an UKC Nose Work judge, and an AKC Scent Work judge. She has been teaching classes in Nose Work since 2012.
Gale is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and as an avid positive reinforcement trainer, she also is a Certified Fear Free Professional. In addition, she is an AKC Canine Good Citizen/Trick evaluator and a Temperament judge.
Gale currently shares her home with two Portuguese Water Dogs, Fiji & Bali, who she actively trains and competes with in Nose Work, Rally, Obedience, Conformation, Agility, Pet Therapy, and Water Work.
